Flat mate wanted to share a two bed-apartment just off Crystal Palace Triangle. 5 minutes walk to Crystal Palace National Rail Station and about the same to the high street, Everyman Cinema etc.
Ideally I would like to share with a male of any sexual-orientation, although a gay male is preferred.
The room on offer is a fully furnished small double with fully fitted wardrobes offering ample storage space. It is very cosy & comfortable and has everything one person could need from a bedroom, including TV connection etc.. if watching telly in bed is your thing!.
The apartment itself has a large open plan kitchen/living/diner (which we will both share) leading on to a small roof terrace which catches the sun in the summer and has great views too.
I am a black, gay lawyer. with a busy personal and professional life. Former flat mates have described me as kind, warm, considerate, irreverent and good fun (or so I've heard!). Several in recent years have remained good friends even after 'flying the nest' so I must have done something right somewhere along the line!.
I am very easy going, outgoing and sociable person and I am drawn to people with a similar positive outlook on life. So, if you are a bit shy and retiring you will probably find me too much!.
I am not big on rules on regulations - so having friends, family or partners over (within reason) isn't an issue for me. However, what is an issue is that I like my home to be VERY clean and tidy, so if you are less bothered about that then we probably won't make a good 'flat sharing' match.
Finally, being upfront about my (very few!) personal faults:
1 - I work very long hours and this leads to me being up quite late once I do eventually 'log off' from work (I am usually in bed around mid-night). So if you are someone who needs to be tucked up in bed asleep by 9:30pm that could be an issue.
2. - I currently work at home 3 days a week. I would like any new flat mate to broadly reflect my 'hybrid' working arrangements.
3. - I am a social smoker but I NEVER smoke in the house. EVER!
4. I like to relax by listening to music or the radio rather the telly. So, I do play a fair bit of music - but the apartment is very well sound-proofed from all angles so it won't disturb your beauty sleep (see
Look forward to hearing from y'all
