I'm looking for the right person to rent my spare room on a Monday-to-Friday basis in my first-floor flat in Crystal Palace.

The room is a small double with good storage for clothes and belongings, making it ideal for a professional who needs a comfortable London base during the week rather than a full-time home. It would suit someone who travels light and is looking for a calm, welcoming place to stay while working in London.

The flat has been recently renovated and has a large open-plan living area, fully equipped kitchen and spacious bathroom. You'll be welcome to use the living room, TV and all shared spaces.

Location-wise, the flat is a short walk from the Crystal Palace Triangle with its independent shops, cafés, restaurants and pubs. Transport links are fairly easy, with easy access to:

Gipsy Hill (around 20 minutes walk)
Norwood Junction (short bus ride, with trains to London Bridge in around 13 minutes)
Crystal Palace Station
Tulse Hill Station

A little about me: I'm the homeowner and work as a freelance interior stylist. I like to keep the flat clean, tidy and relaxed. I often work away during the week, so there will likely be many occasions where we don't cross paths at all.

I also have a friendly, low-maintenance cat, so I'm looking for someone who is comfortable living with a cat and happy to occasionally put some food down for her if I'm away overnight.

The room is best suited to a professional commuter looking for a peaceful, well-kept home during the working week.
