Friendly home, great location and plenty of soace

I'm looking for a lodger to rent a bright ground-floor double bedroom in my lovely three-storey townhouse, just a short stroll (under 5 minutes) from Crystal Palace Station (Zone 3), making commuting into Central London quick and easy.

The room is approx 12ft x 11ft and is on the ground floor, so it feels like you have your own area of the house. It comes fully furnished with a good-sized TV included. The room looks out onto the garden via large patio doors. There's a private toilet and sink next to the room, with a shared bathroom, plus access to the kitchen, lounge and garden.
You'll be sharing with me and my 16-year-old flamboyant son, who is studying music and tends to be out most of the time. We also have two friendly cats, so you'll need to be happy living with pets. I’m afraid this room is not suitable for anyone with pets of their own.

There is also the possibility of a part-time Mon – Fri only lodger who will be in our single room on the top floor of the house.

I'm 43 and a Civil Servant and nearly qualified therapist. I enjoy cooking, crafts, and meeting friends at the pub. I am laid back and enjoy my own space, but I'm equally happy to share a glass of wine and a chat. I work from home most days. I'm looking for someone friendly, respectful and independent who would enjoy being part of a relaxed, welcoming home. I want you to feel like part of the family and not just a lodger.

Crystal Palace itself has a lot to offer, the Triangle is a short walk from here and is full of pubs, cafés and independent shops. Crystal Palace Park is also nearby, during the summer months there are all sorts of music events and festivals held there as well as gorgeous grounds for a walk or a picnic. The National Sports Centre is also less than a 10-minute walk away.

Our road is permit only and a residents permit for 12 months costs around £80. There is free street parking less than a 3-minute walk away.
