Room available in Dalston loft

Hello! As my current flatmate is leaving to move to the US, I have a double room that will soon become available in a two-bedroom flat in Dalston, close to both Dalston Junction and Dalston Kingsland. It’s a brilliant spot for cafés, shops, nights out and getting around London, while the flat itself nice and spacious.

You will have your own bathroom (though technically not an en-suite as it’s outside the bedroom and the toilet is sometimes used by guests).

The flat has a fully equipped kitchen and huge living room, with a desk for working from home and the room is unfurnished but you can buy the previous flatmates bed etc.

About me - I’m a software engineer in my mid 30s and work remotely full time, though I often go to local cafes to work. I like to DJ, go to gigs, yoga, restaurants and bars, see friends and dilly dally around the city. I also do some music/lifestyle content creation from time to time, and I love hosting.

I do like to have some alone time at home to recharge, but always happy to chat and do stuff together!

Ideally I’m looking for a fellow woman around my age but I’m flexible, as long we get on I’m not too bothered!

No cigarettes and no pets please!

My current flatmate is moving abroad, so the move-in date is flexible, ideally around late November or December. The current rent is £1462 each plus approximately £165 in bills.

The existing contract has a January 2027 end date, so I’m confirming the arrangements for a new housemate and whether there will be any change to the rent. I’ll make sure you have those details before you commit.
