About me - I work in music and events and have been in the flat for about 5 years and love. It is a private landlord so no messing with agencies, he is very chilled and just lets us get on with it. Although, if anything does go wrong it is sorted within 24 hours with zero fuss.

The house 🏡

Honestly, this is probably the most relaxed place I’ve ever lived. It actually feels like a home, rather than one of those London houseshares where everyone mysteriously disappears into their bedroom and communicates exclusively through passive-aggressive WhatsApp messages about the bins.

It’s pet friendly too, and couples considered.

The location 📍

We are literally just off Dalston High Street, so the location is ridiculously convenient.

You’ve got the Mildmay Line and Windrush Line within easy reach, loads of buses going basically everywhere, plus Lime and Forest bikes all over the place.

Dalston itself has pretty much everything on the doorstep — pubs, bars, restaurants, cafés, shops, supermarkets.

Money 💸

Rent and bills are paid to the other housemate/lead tenant each month.

The £1,150 deposit would be paid to me upon move-in.

I’m ideally looking for someone who’ll appreciate the house for what it is: relaxed, friendly, welcoming and drama-free. Male or female, and someone who’s happy living somewhere that genuinely feels like home.

The previous flatmate reluctantly had to leave, so the flat is available almost immediately - although this is of course negotiable.
