Room with own bathroom available in a lovely 2-bed, 2-bath flat in Dalston Square, just 2 minutes from Dalston Junction station with great transport links across Hackney and wider London.

Room is available from last week of August.

The flat has a spacious open-plan living room and kitchen, a large balcony, and access to the rooftop and gym within the wider development. It’s a comfortable, well-kept home in a really convenient location, close to lots of cafés, bars, restaurants and green spaces.

A bit about me: I’ve lived in London for 4 years and work in impact investing in the City. I’m usually in the office 3–5 days a week and have a fairly active social life, so I’m often out and about but also enjoy having a calm, comfortable home to come back to. I’m of Nigerian heritage and grew up in Scotland. I’m also quite sporty and mostly into cycling, netball and the gym.

In terms of home life, I’m clean and considerate, but relaxed. I like the flat to feel tidy and looked after without it feeling overly strict. I occasionally have friends over for dinner or drinks, but it’s definitely not a crazy party every weekend flat.

I’m looking for someone friendly, tidy and respectful who is happy to communicate openly but also has their own life and independence. It would be great to live with someone I naturally get on with, but the main thing is creating a comfortable and respectful living environment for both of us.

The flat came unfurnished but the outgoing flatmate is happy to leave her bed, wardrobe and bedside table. Most of the decor throughout the flat is mine, so most of that will stay (but happy for you to put your touch on things).

The flat would probably suit a woman around a similar age/stage of life, though I’m open to the right person and would consider a couple if it felt like a good fit.
