Hi! Room available in a Victorian house with a garden and terrace, located in De Beauvoir Town next to Dalston.

As my Master's studies in the UK is over, I'm about to leave London and looking for someone to replace me in my cozy room. I've lived here for almost a year, and can confidently say it's a lovely place to stay.

Move-in is early July. Bills are around £100.

*Location:*
The house is in a sweet spot between busy Dalston and calm De Beauvoir Town. It is extremely well-connected (5 min to Dalston Junction and Dalston Kingsland Overground, 3 min to a bus stop), and there is a spacious Lime bike parking spot on the road which I use a lot. There's an off-license shop down the road, a large Sainsbury's and M&S on the high street, and plenty of fancy cafes, bars and restaurants around the corner.

*House:*
We have a large living room with a TV (Xbox, Wii, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Mubi) and a record player. There are two bathrooms (with showers), a spacious kitchen with a skylight, a big garden (with swings and a hammock), and a rooftop terrace.

*The Room:*
The room itself is located on the 2nd floor, which gives you a lot of privacy. It features three large windows, a fireplace, built-in shelves and a rail. The rooftop terrace entrance is literally next to your room, which is quite convenient, especially in the summertime.

The room comes unfurnished, but I'm happy to leave the needed furniture (can be discussed).

*The flatmates & what we are looking for*
The house is shared with 4 other people in their mid-to-late 20s with a range of jobs and interests. Everyone is super friendly and respectful, with a balance of hanging out together (movie nights, pub/bar trips, board games etc.) as well as alone time. Since the house is so large (3 floors), it never feels crowded and allows plenty of personal space. We're looking for someone who is considerate, fun and up for being friends with their flatmates, not just living alongside each other. We’re queer-friendly & care that you’re too <3

Overall, I loved my time living here and would've definitely stayed longer if I could.

In-person and video viewings are encouraged, and you're more than welcome to text me if you have any questions!
