Very sad to be leaving this gorgeous maisonette. Located in the heart of De Beauvoir, you can literally roll out of your bed into the deli, pub, grocers, and cafes and wine bars a plenty.

Excellent transport links via bus (141, 76 right outside) or a ten minute walk to Haggerston.

The double room comfortably fits a queen bed (or more if you’re feeling decadent) as well as a large wardrobe and plenty of other books for storage. Happy to discuss selling the furniture in the room.

The flat is renovated, has triple glazed windows to block out all noise, a huge kitchen and living area, as well as a nook to work from home.

You’ll be living with Grace, a lawyer in her mid 30a who is self described as “a delight” and is one of the last non-Antipodeans in De Beauvoir. You’re the right fit if you’re also a working professional in their early 30s, and enjoy a cheeky glass of wine, a tv show to watch together, and the occasional housemate dinner. You also have to be okay with sometimes sharing the space with a dog (but he is very cute, and around very infrequently for an evening or two).

The occasional dinner party and friends around very much encouraged, but big and regular parties less so.
