Canal Side En-suite Room!

Welcome to our lovely, plant-filled apartment overlooking Kingsland Wharf, only a five-minute walk from Haggerston station. I’m looking for a friendly, clean flatmate to sublet my room for two months, from the beginning of October until the end of November.

About the room

The room is a double bedroom with an en-suite, it comes fully furnished with a bed frame and mattress, built-in wardrobe, bedside table, two lockers and a six-drawer cabinet. You’ll also have a dedicated desk in our shared study.

About the apartment

Our spacious 120m² apartment has an open-plan kitchen with modern appliances, a large lounge with a smart TV and record player, and a beautiful balcony overlooking the canal. We also have a separate study room with a desk for each occupant, making the flat ideal for working from home.

Transport

The apartment is only a five-minute walk from Haggerston station, with excellent connections for commuting and exploring London.

Current housemates

You’ll be sharing with Tess, a 31-year-old engineering consultant, and Yuki, a 25-year-old visa executive. We also have a cat called Bouboule! She is polite, slightly shy and will gently ask you for strokes. We have a Roomba to help keep the apartment clean and free from cat hair.

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone clean and tidy who is sociable while also respectful of everyone’s personal space. Being considerate and communicative is important to maintaining the friendly atmosphere in our home.

Costs

Rent is £1,801.67 per month, with bills of £198.93 covering council tax, electricity, water and Wi-Fi. The total monthly cost is £2,000.60.
