Private bathroom and canal views

Hey, I’m Erin, I’ve lived in this flat for two years — it’s a decently big 2 bed 2 bath flat, 3 mins walk from Haggerston overground, with a Juliet balcony over Kingsland basin. In the summertime we leave the doors wide open and get a lovely breeze, you can hear the birds splashing and ambient chatter from a cafe down the way, sometimes we get parakeets in the tree outside the window, in the winter there's the smell of wood fires from the houseboats moored below, its a really lovely piece of London.

Kitchen and bathrooms aren’t winning awards but they’re clean and functional. I pay a bit more because I have an ensuite and slightly larger room. Yours would be the hall bathroom, and I do try and ask my guests to use my bathroom.

The flat is rented unfurnished, but I have a good amount of living room furniture — big couch, tv, coffee table, etc and my flatmate is to selling her bed and maybe a few other bits if you need.

About me: I’m 30, I work in tech, outside of work I’m often up to some kind of thing -- I’m in a sailing club and a local community choir, I swim, love a good coffee. I’m looking to buy a flat in the near future ish, but if I do find something, I’ll give plenty of notice and can be flexible about getting someone in to take my spot.

I work from home 3 ish days a week. My current flatmate also works from home 1-2 days a week, sometimes overlapping and we made it work! I occasionally have a friend or two round for dinner but generally home is peaceful, and preference for no drugs or heavy drinking in the flat. Pet-friendly if your pet is friendly :)

Bills are about £150/month each, wifi electricity council tax etc.
