Our lovely flatmate Tom (30) is leaving us for an adventure in Australia, so we’re looking for someone wonderful to take over his spacious double room with its own private bathroom in our lovely home in De Beauvoir, Islington.

We’ve got a really great home and are looking for someone who will fit in with our relaxed, friendly and considerate household.

* Large double bedroom with its own private bathroom
* Furnished with a bed and wardrobe
* Available from 2 November 2026, but flexible for someone looking to move in a little later
* Rent: £1,245 per month
* Deposit: £1,590
* Bills: Approximately £200 per person per month
* Cleaner: Professional cleaner comes every fortnight

👋 About Us

You’ll be living with Josh (38) and Megan (39). We’re both originally from Australia, have been friends for years and have made London our home.

Josh works for Disney in theatrical entertainment and has been living in London for seven years, all of them in this house! He’s a big fan of F45, the cinema and seeing shows in the West End.

Megan has been in London for eight years and helps run a podcast and media business based near Oxford Circus. She loves Pilates, going to the cinema, theatre and exploring everything London has to offer.

We’re both working professionals with busy lives, but we enjoy catching up with each other, having a chat in the kitchen and spending time together when we’re home.

We’re friendly, sociable and enjoy a laugh, but we’re definitely not a party household.

📍 The Area – De Beauvoir, Islington

We absolutely love living in De Beauvoir and genuinely think it’s one of London’s best-kept secrets.

Josh has lived in this house for seven years, and over that time we’ve built lovely relationships with local business owners, neighbours and other residents. There’s a real sense of community here, which can be hard to find in London.

It’s a beautiful, leafy neighbourhood with lovely streets, independent cafés, pubs, restaurants and local shops, while still being incredibly well connected.

Transport and location:

* 15–20 minute walk to Highbury & Islington station
* 15 minute walk to Dalston Kingsland and nearby Overground connections
* Around 15 minutes to Old Street
* Fantastic for cycling, with easy access to Shoreditch, Angel, the City and central London

It’s the perfect balance of being close to everything London has to offer while living somewhere that feels peaceful and residential.
