About Me & The Household Lifestyle
I am a 43-year-old professional lecturing in Art, Design, and Theatre at a London university, as well as a practising research artist. I stay active, go to the gym regularly, and cycle to work.

Family Life: I have a well-behaved 6.5-year-old daughter who stays over two nights a week and every other weekend. You must be entirely comfortable sharing a home with a child during those times. She happily stays in our bedroom if you ever want the flat to be more child-free for dinner with friends, movies, night-ins, etc.

The Vibe: I'm looking to create a fun, warm, and highly social home. I enjoy a good drink, love meeting new people, and absolutely welcome having friends over, hosting dinners, and keeping a lively, welcoming environment—while still respecting that it's a home, not a late-night club. I am equally happy to welcome a couple into the space.

Cleanliness: I'm looking for someone tidy to share household upkeep. However, I am also a very busy single parent, so I sometimes leave the dishes overnight with bursts of cleaning during the week and on weekends when I have the time. We can hire a regular cleaner together if you like.

Financials & Process
Rent: £1,025 per calendar month (Note: If you are applying as a couple, we can discuss a fair adjustment for bills/rent split).

Bills: Approx. £200 per month each (including all utilities, wifi and council tax).

Move-in/Term: Looking for someone to cover the final two months of the current lease (ending September), with a view to jointly signing a new 1-year tenancy starting in October.

Requirements: References and a security deposit will be required.
