There's a modestly sized double ensuite room available at the end of this month in my place in Deptford. It's about 30 seconds from the bus link which will take you to Canada Water on the Jubilee Line or to Surrey Quays Overground in < 10 minutes.
Also equidistant from New Cross and Deptford High St (~ 12 min walk).
The house has storage in the basement, a washing machine, washer, dryer, and an apple and a pear tree in the backyard. There is a number of plum trees lining the street which should be flowering soon.
I lived there from 2012-2016 during my studies at Goldsmiths and really enjoyed the experience. There are some really nice Vietnamese restaurants close by in Deptford + the markets on the weekend, and New Cross is a hive of activity.
