Property
The flat is in Gilbert House on McMillan Street. The bedroom advertised is a spacious (approx. 12.5’ x 10.5’) and warm double with several radiators in the room. The kitchen has a gas hob. Separate toilet and shower rooms. This is a 4-room flat with one room used as a common space. Washer in-unit. Two large communal storage areas
Location
The flat is just off Deptford High Street. It is a 15-min walk to University of Greenwich. There are many grocery options: Tesco and Sainbsury Local within a 3-min walk, ASDA within 10 min, ALDI within 15 min, as well as numerous local East Asian, West African, and South Asian grocers.
Transportation is extremely convenient. There is a bus stop a 2-min walk away for the 47, 188, 199, N1, and N199. Deptford Southeastern Rail Station is 7-10 min away. Greenwich DLR and Southeastern rail within 10-15 min. Cutty Sark DLR also within 10-15 min walking. Deptford Bridge Overground a 10-min walk away.
Flatmates
Your new flatmates are two friendly, clean, considerate, and quiet women in their 30s. One is a working professional and the other is a student who also works. They would prefer the new flatmate is someone of a similar age range who identifies as a woman.
Furnishings and Amenities
The kitchen comes stocked with basic cookware, dishes, and utensils. Full-size fridge and dishwasher. Ample counter space.
The room will come with a double bed with double divan base as well as a wardrobe rail. The furniture in the room pictured is my own, though I will consider selling to the incoming tenant. There are some miscellaneous pieces of furniture from previous tenants available as well (bedside drawers, shelving unit, makeup caddy, collapsible laundry hamper, laundry rack, etc).
Bills are 42.26/month
Please note the room is let through Keatons, which will conduct a referencing check on tenants who decide to move forward with the flat. You must be permanently or self-employed, be able to provide a guarantor, or be able to pay 6 months rent in advance.
