Just to note: I am advertising the room now but my shower is being replaced so won’t be available for another 4 weeks. I won’t respond to your message immediately.
Hi everyone!
I am looking for someone to rent out the room in my house. Have a read and pop me a message with a few lines about yourself, what you do for work, and why you are looking to move and then we can arrange a viewing.
About the Area
The house is situated in West Ealing and it's 15 minutes from West Ealing and Hanwell station on the Elizabeth line. It takes around 30 minutes to get to Tottenham Court Road, Bond Street and Paddington.
o Gym – There is a Golds gym 15-minute walk away, It has a swimming pool, sauna, running and weights, around £30 a month.
o Supermarkets - There is a very large Lidl next to the gym and a Waitrose next to West Ealing station. There are some corner shops, barbers, dentist and doctors at the top of the road.
o Pubs/Coffee shops - The Drayton Arms has the largest beer garden in West London, it shows Wimbledon, Football etc and has a pub quiz/comedy night. There’s a couple of very nice coffee shops, one called Momentum and the Clock tower cafe, and a greasy spoons type cafe.
About the House
There is separate kitchen with sofa and television which has doors that lead onto a small garden with a seating area.
At the front of the house is the living room with television, sofa and dining area. The benefit of this is that there is plenty of space downstairs to relax, enjoy a movie, cook etc. The back of the house gets sun until the afternoon and then front of the house then gets sun until late afternoon/early evening. The garden can get very hot from April on wards and is really nice place to sit out and enjoy breakfast/lunch. I have a cat called Napoleon who is very needy and will loves to sit on people's knees if you are watching television and doesn't like to be by himself so will follow people around.
About Me
- I play badminton midweek once a week, and stay with my boyfriend at his flat one night a week and I'm out and about most weekends.
- I'm looking for someone who essentially is independent, happy to chat, quiet and respectful of each others space.
- My previous housemate was with me for 3 and a half years.
General info and about you
- I think it’s really important to set expectations so there are no misunderstandings and to get the right fit.
- The room is single occupancy ONLY, a partner is wellcome to stay for one night but or a twice every couple of weeks but you would also have to stay at theirs.
- the house is a great place to come home and relax after a day at work, having a friend over occasionally is OK but again not each week. A couple of times a month is Ok. We want the place for us all to enjoy and give everyone space.
- I’m looking for someone in full time employment.
- We have watched the occasional television series like traitors together, and have gone to the pub occasionally but tend to do our own thing.
