Large Double Room in East Dulwich house w garden

£750 per month (additional £150 for couples)

We have a large double room available with double bed, large built-in wardrobe, chest of drawers etc.

Would suit someone who loves animals as we have a big dog and 2 cats 🙂

It is situated in the very popular area of East Dulwich / Peckham Rye. This is an interesting area with many green spaces, good transport links and no parking restrictions.

It is a family house, situated in a cul-de-sac, close to transport links, good parks, bars/restaurants and nice shopping areas.

The house has large front and back gardens, is well insulated (walls and roof), has double glazing, electric shower and central heating which had a new boiler installed in November 2021. We have a small, covered gym area in the back garden, a breakfast bar in the kitchen and a separate small dining room.

There is quite a lot of storage space in the loft and garage if you need to use some of that. We use the garage to store bikes and as a workshop but there is free on street parking if you have a car. We are inside the ULEZ area.

No smoking allowed inside the house but smoking in the gardens is fine. We are myself (immigration consultant), a female professional cat sitter and a couple one of whom is an electrical engineer.

We are all fairly quiet, not really party animals and don't like to keep the heating on for long. If you like your home tropical in winter, this is definitely not the house for you.

We are friendly and easy going, but also respectful of privacy and each other's space.

Our spoken languages are, English, French, Spanish and Netherlands.

COSTS:
£750 per month for one person occupancy, extra £150 for a couple.

Council tax is divided between all of the people who live in the house so usually about £35 per month each.

Electricity and gas bills are shared between everyone in the house and are usually about £20-30 per month each but more in the winter.

Water bills are due to be on a new meter so that will also be shared between everyone.

Broadband Wi-Fi and TV licence are included in the rent.

We would want one month rent in advance plus one month rent as a deposit.
