Double room

We are a family with a 7 year old son offering our spare room for a non-smoking professional/student. The room available is a double size and located on the first floor of a semi-detached 3 bedroom house. The rent is £150 per week including bills, and it's available from the 1st of July

The house is situated on a quiet cul-de sac and has a large garden (well suited for BBQs!). There is one shared bathroom and two toilets (one upstairs and one downstairs).

Lordship lane is a short walk away with it's weekend market, shops, bars & restaurants and recent addition the Dulwich Picture House. Also Dulwich Leisure Centre (pool, gym), Peckham Rye park & Dulwich Village park are nearby. There is a gym run by Dulwich Hamlet FC less than 5 min walk away.

The room is furnished with a sofa-bed, wardrobe, small writing table & a large and a small chest of drawers. Price includes all bills including council tax and a fast fibre internet connection.

The house is in zone 2 and a less than 5 min walk from East Dulwich train station, with regular 12 min trains directly into London Bridge. Denmark Hill train station is a 10 min walk away with trains to Victoria, Luton and also the Overground. East Dulwich is well served by buses into Victoria (185), Aldgate (40) and Covent Garden (176), which also run as night buses.

Since we are a family home, we are looking for someone who is calm, easy going, not messy and OK with sharing a house with a (mostly well-behaved) 7 year old boy.
