The Room:
Located at the top floor, it's a double bed with an ensuite bathroom. It is furnished with a wardrobe, chest of drawer and a bedside table.
The House:
Our townhouse is split over three floors in a safe, relaxed neighbourhood with incredible access to transport and a large range of shops.
We have a spacious, fully furnished dining room, kitchen and living room area on the second floor which overlooks a private patio and residential garden.
The open-plan kitchen comes complete with a large fridge freezer, dishwasher and washer dryer, as well as a big dining table and comfy sofas.
Your Housemates:
You’ll be sharing the townhouse with three friendly professionals who are easygoing and respectful of each other’s space. Most of the time it's quiet and everyone does their own thing.
Location:
The location of our house is amazing - there’s a gym and Sainsbury’s Local across the road from us, and we’re only 5 minutes walk away from Westfield Stratford. We’re surrounded by lots of green spaces, independent bars and cafes, and also a short walk from the Olympic Park and Hackney Wick.
We’re also easy to get to and commute from - our house is located just 5 minutes from the DLR and Southeastern trains at Stratford International, and 10 minutes from Stratford Station, which connects you to the Central, Jubilee, Elizabeth and Overground lines.
Rent, Landlord and Deposit:
The rent for the room is £966.44 per month (one of the lowest in this area for this type of room), while bills are around an additional ~£100-£200 for water, electricity, wifi, Council Tax (Band E) etc. Each housemate is responsible for managing certain bills, and you would be taking over the electricity bills.
Our townhouse is managed by GetLiving London.
This will be a brand new contract and you will have the ability to transfer out if you wish to leave by handing in a 2 months notice to GetLiving.
To ensure smooth transition, you will need to have a salary 30x the monthly rent (24.5k) and references will need to be filled out within an app called Canopy. (Ie. Bank statements/payslips, proof of employment/ right to rent) Also a fair/good credit rating is required.
