Two Double Bedrooms available in a Townhouse flat share.
We are looking for a new housemate to move into our large 4 bed, 3 bathroom townhouse in East Village. The tenancy would be from around 14 July, however an earlier move in could be possible, pending a reference clearance.
You will be joining a totally new tenancy contract with rent frozen until August 2027 (by negotiation, rent was not increased this year!).
We are looking to organise viewings in the near future, but need to find a person that is the right fit.

THE ROOM
The room comes fully-furnished (fitted wardrobes, drawers, bedside tables and bed). You can quite easily request new furnishings if needed.
Bills and communal expenses are approx. £150/month pp including; Council Tax, Electricity, Water, Heating, Internet (1Gbps), Netflix, & a Cleaner every 2 weeks.
We share quite a few things around the flat so you'd also be expected to contribute for things like cleaning supplies or whatever the majority of the flat deems as necessary.
Move in Date: 14 July 2026
The landlord, Get Living (GL), is a fee-free property management company, and so there is no legal deposit required.
GL will need to do referencing and paperwork which takes about two weeks (currently top priority and streamlined for us).
To pass GL's referencing you will need to prove you earn above a certain amount per annum - the number this year should be around £35k+. You should also have a good credit score. Be aware that the reference is quite thorough so do not get in touch if this concerns you.

Our two-storey townhouse is on the corner of Honour Lea Avenue & Olympic Park Avenue, with it's own front door and a large balcony overlooking the Olympic Park.

THE FLATMATES & NEW JOINERS
The current flatmates are Brennan (31), & Tom (22).
Both are professionals who are very easy-going. Tom, an Australian, works in sales in the drinks industry, into music, food and fitness. Brennan, from London, is a policy focussed civil servant working a hybrid office job. It’s always been a fun and friendly household over the years so we're keen for the new flatmates to fit in and be up for socialising. This includes going out for drinks/food, games nights, and sometimes hosting the occasional afters.
We're looking to invite candidates for viewings and then once narrowed down ideally get together for a drink so that the four of us can get to know each other.

THE AREA
The Flat is a 5-minute walk to Stratford International Station and DLR, around 10 minutes to Stratford Underground, and around 10 mins to Hackney Wick Overground.
Hackney Wick, Barge East, Here East are all on our doorstep - great for bars and social activities. We are basically in the Olympic Park, and then Victoria Park, Hackney Marshes & Walthamstow Marshes are all linked - lots of green space and great routes if you like your running/walking.
It's a very exiting area to live with concerts, festivals, and events always constantly going on just a stones throw away.
5 mins walk to Westfield (incl. big Waitrose & M&S), 1 min walk to Nisa Local, 5 min walk to Sainsbury's Local & Tesco Express, 15-20 min walk to Lidl and big Asda.
