Hello everyone! Our roommate is moving out to buy her own place, so we have 1 double room that will be available from mid-July in our extremely spacious and homey flat in East Village Stratford (E20) for currently £1194,71 (Bills not included)
THE ROOMS / FLAT
The room is fully furnished with a king size bed, a huge set of built-in wardrobes, a set of drawers, and two bedside tables. You will share a spacious bathroom with only one other person.
There’s also a large amount of shared storage in the rest of the flat, including a shoe closet, coat closet, kitchen pantry storage, and storage cupboard with a washer and dryer so plenty of room for all your belongings.
The living/common area is somewhere you'll actually want to hang out - it's large with floor to ceiling windows, a dining table, coffee table and 2 comfy sofas and a big TV.
The building also comes with a secure bike parking, 24 hour concierge, secure parcel delivery storage, and 3 roof terraces.
CURRENT FLATMATES
You'll be sharing with two lovely flatmates: Cindy (32 years old) who is a Project Coordinator at a video game company and Marine (33 years old) who is a HR and Payroll Advisor at a finance company.
We're looking for a friendly and clean flatmate (Female professionals only please!) to replace Melissa who has bought her own flat. The vibe of the flat: we like to have dinner and hang out together (kudos if you’re really good at Overcooked 2 ;) ) but we are also respectful of each other’s privacy and boundaries.
LOCATION
It's incredibly well-connected:
- 2 mins walk: Stratford international (train to King’s Cross, DLR)
- 2 mins walk: Westfield Stratford shopping centre
- 8 mins walk: Stratford station (Elizabeth line, Jubilee, Central, Mildmay (Overground), DLR)
A mini Sainsbury's is 1min walk from the flat with a big Waitrose 3 min walk away. Morrisons & Lidl are a 15 -20 min walk. The Olympic park is a 3 min walk away and is a huge green space and lovely to walk around.
Hackney Wick is about a 15 min walk and is a great place for going out with a lot of bars. Westfield has loads of shops, restaurants, a cinema, bowling alley etc.
LEASE
The new tenant will sign a new contract with the two remaining flatmates and will move in from mid-July (flexible). The lease will be on a rolling contract.
The landlord is GetLiving. You will be required to show proof of employment and other landlord references. No deposit is required if your salary is at least £36,500 per annum and you have a good credit score - they will verify with Experian.
