I’m looking for someone to take over my spacious double room in a modern apartment in the heart of East Village, Stratford.
📍 Location
The flat is finished to a high standard and is in one of the best locations in East London. You’re just a few minutes’ walk from Stratford Station, with quick access to the Central, Jubilee, Elizabeth, DLR and Overground lines, making commuting across London incredibly easy.
East Village has a fantastic community feel, with cafés, restaurants, supermarkets, gyms and green spaces all on your doorstep. The Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park is just around the corner, making it perfect if you enjoy running, walking or simply being outdoors.
🏠 The Apartment
The apartment is bright, clean and well maintained, with a modern kitchen, comfortable shared living space and everything you’d expect from a contemporary home. The bedroom has plenty of natural light and is spacious enough for a comfortable work-from-home setup. You’ll also have your own bathroom but not en suite.
👋 Your Flatmate
You’ll be sharing the flat with Wyatt, who works as a Senior Financial Analyst at Morgan Stanley. He’s genuinely easy to live with quiet, respectful of your space and keeps the flat clean and tidy. Outside of work, he enjoys golf and is an Arsenal supporter. Having lived with him, I can honestly say I’ve had zero issues throughout my time here. If you’re looking for a home where everyone gets on but also respects each other’s independence, Wyatt is an ideal flatmate.
💷 Bills
Bills typically come to around £320–£350 per month, depending on the time of year. This includes all utilities, council tax, broadband and a professional cleaner who comes twice a month, helping keep the flat in great condition with minimal effort.
🛋️ Furniture
The room comes with all of the standard furniture provided by the apartment. The only items that belong to me are the TV, desk, office chair and fan. I’m looking to sell these before I move, so if you’d be interested in keeping any or all of them, I’m more than happy to have a chat and work something out.
📅 Availability
My official notice period ends on 28th August, but there is flexibility. The earliest I can move out is 28th July, and the letting agency is happy for a new tenant to move in sooner, subject to the usual referencing and approval process.
📩 Interested?
If you think this could be the right place for you, feel free to get in touch and tell me a little about yourself. I’m happy to answer any questions and arrange either an in-person or video viewing.
