Bright double room in friendly houseshare

Hi all, our lovely housemate is moving back home, so Simone and I are looking for a new person to join us in our fab East Village flatshare ✨

THE FLAT
The flat is a 3-bed in the East Village, with a private balcony overlooking a central courtyard. The living room has AC (which has been amazing during the summer heatwaves!), a big dining table, sofas and a TV. Our shared kitchen has a dishwasher, large fridge-freezer and plenty of storage space for everyone’s cooking bits. It's great for hosting friends for dinner and we do our best to keep it nice and clean for everyone.

THE ROOM
The room is one of 3 bedrooms in the flat, sharing a bathroom with one of the other two housemates. It has a big window and comes with a double bed and wardrobe, with space to bring your own furniture pieces to decorate.

THE AREA
The flat is within the East Village in Stratford. It’s peaceful, quiet and surrounded by little bars, cafes and restaurants, as well as being within walking distance to spots like the Olympic Park, Hackney Wick and Fish Island. Westfield Stratford is a five-minute walk away, with plenty of shops and a big Waitrose and M&S as supermarket options. There’s also quite a few gyms to pick from.

Transport links include:
- Stratford International train station (5-minute walk)
- Stratford Tube station (Elizabeth, Central, Jubilee, DLR, Mildmay Overground) (around 15-minute walk through the mall)
- Coach stop to Stansted airport (15-minute walk, and super convenient for early morning flights!)

THE HOUSEMATES
You would be sharing the flat with Simone and me, Shir! We are both working professionals in our late twenties and met via SpareRoom. We get along really well and enjoy making our flat feel like a home.

THE TECHNICAL BITS
Rent for this room is 1022GBP per month, with bills (energy, WiFi, water and council tax) coming to about 150GBP on top of that per month.

To join the house-share, you would go through a referencing and screening process via our estate agent. If they are happy with your application, we would start a new tenancy with all 3 of us. This would be a rolling tenancy that has a flexible cancellation policy.

There is no deposit required.
