Large bright Stratford bedroom for early Sept

I am moving in with my partner so will be leaving this wonderful house behind. I have loved living here and the flatmates are the best you could ask for.

👨👩 About the housemates…

Jack is early 30s, sociable, lovely, and works in graphic design and video editing.

Ellie is mid 20s, a busy bee and her room is on the ground so sightings are rare but always a delight. She’s a great chef and baker!

They have lived together for a while and we’ve always appreciated great communication if any issues have come up. It’s a very peaceful household and although we all have had guests over for movie nights or dinner, it is not a party house.

We have a cleaning rota that’s based on the honor system. It has worked well for us and we would love a tenant who is willing to pull their weight without needing to be reminded.

🏡 About the house…

The house has two bathrooms although one is in Ellies room so you would share the top floor bathroom with Jack. We go back and forth on weekly cleans.

The house comes with a big kitchen, big living room, and underground parking (although none of us have cars so we don’t know the finer details of that) and outdoor patio area that requires fob entry.

Appliances are all included, dishwasher, washing machine, oven, microwave, induction stove etc…

🚪About the room…

The room itself is massive and comes fully furnished with a double bed and bed frame, 2x bedside tables, a chest of drawers and built in storage. I have been able to work remotely in my room from my desk with plenty of room to spare.

The room also has a lovely little Juliette balcony. It opens out to the trains but when the doors are closed the sound proofing is great. I often leave them open since I don’t mind the noise and like the breeze.

📝 Bills
Rent - £1,120.00

Bills - roughly £150-£180 total, you would take care of council tax, while Jack and Ellie do water, electricity and internet.

Bills and rent come roughly to £1300.

We use split wise for household stuff.

📍About the Location…

The location is absolutely brilliant since it’s so close to so many transportation options, but we’re located on a side street so our area is extremely quiet and peaceful.

🚇 5 minute walk to Stratford station - Overground, DLR, Jubilee Line, Central Line, Elizabeth Line, as well as many buses.

🚅 5 minute walk to Stratford International which runs the 7 minute high speed rail to Kings Cross Station.

🌳10 minute walk to Olympic Park, Wetlands Walk, London Aquatics Center, London Stadium

🛒5 minute walk to Sainsburys Local, an asian Grocery store, or Westfield Mall which has Waitrose and M&S (and 1000 other shops)

❓About you….

Jack and Ellie would love to live with someone who matches their lifestyle and expectations. Tidy, professional, happy to have a little chat and a good communicator. They are looking for a tenant who is house trained and mid 20’s to 30’s. We all have our own lives and busy schedules so we don’t have much crossover except at meal times.

You must be able to provide proof of income that your salary is 30x the rent (33,600).
