Room in East village

Looking for someone to take over my room in East Village!

I’m moving out because I’ve accepted a job in New York, so I’m looking for someone to take over my room in this lovely flat.

The flat

This place has genuinely felt like home. My flatmates are great, and we’ve become a little family over the past year. We all have different schedules, so there’s a good balance of having your own space while still having a friendly, social home. When we’re all around, we’ll often cook together, watch TV, have a drink, or just catch up.

A special mention goes to our cutest housemate — our dog, Millie. She’s honestly the best: hardly barks, loves guests, and is basically like a little human. She mostly does her own thing, but will happily come over when she’s in need of a good butt scratch.

The room

My room has been my little safe space over the last year. It has beautiful natural light, loads of storage, and feels cosy the moment you walk in.

The area

East Village is one of my favourite parts of London — safe, green, and with everything you need nearby:

• 5-minute walk to Stratford International
• Around 8 minutes to Stratford Station (Central, Elizabeth, Jubilee, DLR, Overground & National Rail)
• 5-minute walk to the gym
• Next to Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park
• 10-minute walk to Westfield Stratford City
• Lots of great cafés, restaurants and bars nearby
• Great sauna and cold plunge spot nearby
• Excellent transport links while still feeling peaceful and residential
