Double room (King-bed) in East Village, Stratford

Your room :)

We are two young professionals (both 31) - looking for a 3rd housemate to join our 3-bedroom apartment in East Village. The room is available from 21st September 2026.

ROOM AVAILABLE:
A bright, furnished King-sized bedroom is available. The room includes a large three-door wardrobe, and two bedside tables. There's also loads of storage under the bed too.

You will share the main large bathroom (just by the room) with just other one - has a bath, luxurious shower, built in mirror and cabinet storage.

It looks out onto a residential courtyard and hackney marshes - with absolutely stunning sunsets (see photo!)

OUR HOME:
Fully furnished, 3-bedroom apartment is on the 11th floor and includes a balcony (you can see the London skyline, including the Shard!). There's a spacious, open plan kitchen, dining area and living room. The apartment has air-conditioning too.
We're in a very quiet, calm part of the East Village, and the Olympic Park is literally 20 metres away, with stunning green spaces. The park itself has great sports facilities, and Victoria Park and Hackney Marshes are just a 15 min walk away.

Estimated bills are approx £125 per month, including council tax, utilities and internet. We have 1 Gbps internet, a large TV in the shared living room with the usual subscriptions available.

YOUR FUTURE HOUSEMATES:
Ben - works in AI safety, in the office approx 3 days/week. He's a keen runner and cyclist, and loves exploring new local spots in East London.

Tim - works in finance, in the office most days, and spends much of his spare time going to music events and also producing his own films.

We both have our own routines and social lives, and love keeping the house chilled and stress-free (+ clean & tidy). We're looking for someone who'd also value a relaxed and friendly household :)

THE LETTING AGENCY:
We've had a great experience with Get Living, and they are on top of maintenance (recently fitted a brand new dishwasher and washing machine).

LOCATION:
East Village has a Sainsbury’s, lovely cafes, pubs, local shops and restaurants, and the flat is a 5-mins walk to Stratford International and 10 mins to Stratford Station.
The Westfield Shopping Centre (Waitrose, John Lewis, M&S etc) is nearby. Hackney Wick, with its bars, restaurants and scenic canal spots, is nearby too (10 min walk).
