Double bedroom available in East Village

Hi there

I'm looking for a flatmate for a two-bed flat in East Village, Stratford (E20). I'm happy to be flexible on move-in dates, but would generally prefer someone who can move in on or around 7 October. The room is a spacious double bedroom with its own bathroom.

Rent is £1,550 a month and includes Wi-Fi. Bills come to roughly £130–£200 a month on top, depending on the season. Council Tax is Band D.

Location
The flat is in Skylark Point, one of the newer towers in East Village (part of Portlands Place), about five minutes' walk from Stratford International and around ten from Stratford station. Between the two you've got the Elizabeth line, Jubilee, Central, DLR, Overground and mainline trains, so getting into the City, Canary Wharf, Liverpool Street or King's Cross is quick and you're rarely waiting long for anything. The flat provides easy access to the the Wetlands and the Olympic Park, as well as Westfield, cinemas and excellent shopping outlets. Within the Village itself there are independent cafés, a couple of decent pubs, a gym and a small run of restaurants. The building itself has a 24-hour concierge, secure parcel lockers, cycle storage, and residents get access to the Skybridge – a shared floor with co-working space, a gym and spin studio, a screening room and roof terraces.

I'm a 28-year-old lawyer working in the City. I'm out at work most weekdays and keep the place clean and tidy, but I'm sociable and easy to get on with – happy to share a drink and a chat when we're both in, equally happy to give you your space.

Who I'm looking for

A student or working professional who's respectful of shared space, tidy, and up for the occasional flat dinner. No smokers or couples please.
