Furnished Double Room in East Village, Stratford - 1st December

Hi girls! Sadly, my flatmate is moving out and my remaining flatmate and I are looking for a lovely girl to replace her!

Our flat is a 15 minute walk to Stratford station and Hackney Wick. The area is lovely and safe, and we have a Sainsbury’s local, pilates studio, gym, bars and cafes within a walking distance.

The room is £1160 a month, and bills come up to around £135. It’s fully furnished except for the desk. You’ll be sharing the bathroom with me.

About us:

Yanisha (26) - I work in social media/communications for a healthcare organisation. (I work from home 3 days a week). In my free time, I enjoy swimming, going to the theatre, galleries, museums, and book clubs- I’m also very invested in human rights, and I’m a proud member of the Green Party 💚! I’m a big foodie, and love to bake and visit new restaurants. I also love going out for an occasional boogie 🪩

Rosie (29)- Rosie works in children’s publishing! Rosie has lived in the flat for three years and works from home three days a week. She enjoys reading, going to the cinema and to the local gyms, and exploring the area 🌳

We're ideally looking for a flatmate with similar interests, who will be respectful of the flat and keep the communal spaces clean and tidy. The flat is a peaceful space where we can unwind, and we are looking for someone who values this! We'd love to find someone who is looking to make East Village their home long-term.

The practical things:
- Due to Get Living's rental terms, new tenants must earn at least £35,500 per year. Provided you meet this requirement, there is no deposit.

- The room is available from 1st December.
- Rent will go up annually in line with inflation but we will be signing a new contract, so the first increase wouldn't be until December 2027.
- Internet is included with the rent but other bills (electricity, council tax (band D), water, heating) come to around £135 each per month currently.
