Hi! We are looking for a third housemate to join us in our spacious 3 bed flat in the East Village. The apartment is right next to the Olympic Park, on the 9th floor, with stunning views across the city and a large balcony (ample room for 3 sun loungers!). A super convenient location, with Stratford International a 7 min walk away, and Stratford Station and Hackney Wick both around 13 min walk.
About us... Kalina, used to work in the film industry but has now escaped outdoors and is working as a full time gardener. James, a PR hun who is still deep in the trenches of the film and TV world and loving it! We are pretty homely and a clean and tidy house is important to us. When we're not working, we love to get outdoors for a hike or explore the South East together and, as film buffs, are always up for a movie night or cinema visit. We need a calm home environment so whilst we do like to party sometimes, we generally don’t bring it home (day raves are more appealing than all nighters these days!). We are good friends but also appreciate our alone time so there is no expectation to socialise every night. We’re very friendly and easy going, so are excited to find someone who is a good fit. Must be LGBTQ friendly, and left leaning please and thank you. Working from home is fine but ideally this isn't every day of the week, so we can all get a bit of time alone in the flat!
More about the place…
The room is a large double with a built-in wardrobe but is currently otherwise unfurnished (the bed will be moving but we can request a bed from the letting agent if you need one).
There is a spacious bathroom with a bath that will be shared, generally with one other housemate as there is an en suite in the master bedroom, which should make the morning bathroom routines easier.
The living and kitchen area is open plan and has stunning views across the city, and access to the large balcony. This is fully furnished so there isn’t a lot of room for additional furniture but this can be discussed.
There is a parking garage which you can pay Get Living to park in, as well as secure bike storage.
Boring stuff…
Get Living require all tenants to pass reference checks via Homelet.
There is no deposit providing all checks (and affordability checks are met).
Bills are not included but will be around £150 a month on average. We are council tax band D.
Move in date is 20th November but could possibly be earlier if needed, pending all checks are completed.
We will be holding viewings over the coming weeks so please get in touch asap as we anticipate a lot of interest in the room.
Thanks!
Kalina and James x
