About the Room
The room is a spacious 12 sqm double bedroom with its own ensuite bathroom, a built-in wardrobe, double bed and a small desk, perfect for a student. It’s part of a modern new build 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom flat.
About the Flat
The flat is bright, modern and very spacious. It’s situated in a quiet area, yet shops, restaurants and transport links are all within a few minutes’ walk. It benefits from two patios on either side, which are wonderful in spring and summer. There are plenty of plants throughout, giving it a warm and homely feel. A fortnightly cleaner is included in the rent, keeping shared spaces in great shape.
Who I’m Looking For
I’m looking for a female student who is exceptionally tidy and clean and I mean this seriously. I expect common areas to always be kept spotless, but I also expect your own room to be kept tidy and well-maintained at all times. If you’re someone who lets mess build up behind closed doors, this won’t be the right place for you. I won’t hesitate to ask someone to leave if cleanliness standards aren’t upheld, I want to be upfront about that so we both go in with clear expectations.
You should also be respectful of the furniture and shared spaces, fairly quiet, and happy to socialise from time to time. Ideally we’ll share similar interests and could even become friends! Please don’t apply if you are messy, or if you are uncomfortable around pets, it simply won’t work out.
About Me
I’m a female professional who works mostly from home (I use the third bedroom as my office). I’m a project manager, so I’m naturally very organised, punctual and structured. I’m quiet and reserved by nature but I do enjoy socialising. I’m also passionate about cooking and love experimenting with different cuisines — I’m vegetarian and famous among friends for my weekend crêpes!
I’m very active: I do strength training and gymnastics, and I love going on long walks around London.
I’m a big animal lover. I have two cats — one I fostered and recently adopted, and another I rehomed from a family who could no longer keep her. They’re both lovely and very much part of the home, so a love of animals (or at least being comfortable around them) is a must.
To summarise, the ideal flatmate is:
• Female student
• Exceptionally tidy and clean (in shared spaces and their own room)
• Respectful of the flat and its furniture
• Quiet but sociable
• Comfortable around cats
Please only apply if you genuinely meet the above, particularly around cleanliness. This is a happy, well-kept home and I’d like to keep it that way!
