A stylish furnished double room for single use available from late October in my modern two-bedroom flat at Elephant Park.

The flat is bright, contemporary and finished to a high standard with a spacious open-plan living room and kitchen, underfloor heating, a shared bathroom and a balcony overlooking landscaped gardens with views towards the Shard.

The room includes:

• Double bed
• Built-in double wardrobe
• Chest of drawers
• Desk and chair
• Fast Wi-Fi

The kitchen is fully equipped with an induction hob, oven, dishwasher, microwave, washer/dryer and fridge-freezer.

The location is incredibly convenient: Elephant & Castle stations and Gymbox are around a 3–5 minute walk away, with Borough, London Bridge, South Bank and central London all within easy reach. Elephant Park itself has plenty of cafés, restaurants, bars and green spaces nearby.

You would be sharing with me, a live-in landlord. I work in property and usually work from home one or two days a week. I’m friendly, sociable and easy going and enjoy travelling, fitness, good food, culture and meeting interesting people.

The atmosphere at home is relaxed, open-minded and gay friendly. I enjoy having friends over for drinks or dinner and you would always be welcome to join without any pressure. Equally, you are welcome to have friends over within reason. It’s a sociable home, but not a party flat.

I’m looking for a friendly, tidy and considerate professional who wants somewhere that feels like a home rather than simply a room. The rent is £450 per week, excluding bills. Bills are split equally and usually include:

• Cleaner is £22/hour and comes in once per week.
