Fully furnished double bedroom in gorgeous detached cottage in Elephant & Castle, zone 1. The room comes with a brand new king size ottoman bed bought in Sept 2025 from Dusk, and a brand new Emma mattress, also bought in Sept 2025.

The house itself is well-decorated, fully furnished; with a sitting room, separate dining room which doubles as a great wfh office space/laundry room, a country-style kitchen and a beautiful sunny garden. There’s also a very large shared bathroom.

I would love to find someone who would like a 3 mont short let, or even just use the house as pierre de terre Monday to Friday or occasionally through the month who comes in London for work. If full time, I would love to find someone who is happy to move in with just their clothes as the house its fully furnished.

About me
I’m a very friendly 40-year-old guy who works long hours at my office in Notting Hill, so if you work from home, you’ll always have the place to yourself. I’ve got a busy social life, so often out and about in the evenings and weekends. My home is my sanctuary, so when I’m home I like to relax and unwind with TV and a glass of wine. My ideal flatmate would treat the house the same way I do and enjoy the occasional dinner/chat/TV show binge.
I’m a very clean, tidy and considerate housemate and looking for the same. I am a great flatmate, you will never regret living with me :)

The location
On the edge of Elephant Park, the cottage is perfectly located among everything that’s going on in Elephant & Castle. Its zone 1 location means you’re never too far from all that London has to offer. We have the Bakerloo and Northern lines less than a 10-minute walk away, loads of bus routes, and we’re a few minutes walk from Burgess Park and Kennington Park.

The rent
Rent is £1,250 per month + bills and council tax, which comes to around £265 per month and this includes a fortnightly cleaner plus home insurance. All in £1513 per month.
