Hi!

We have a small furnished single room available in Borough with a nice south-facing private garden, perfect for summer BBQs ☀️. We have also recently gotten some stray cats living in the backyard if you would like to give them treats and pets! The room is furnished with a single bed, wardrobe, and shelves and is available from 1st November 2026. Measurements of the room are 220x300cm and the bed's dimensions are 210x140cm. There are two bathrooms in the property - one on the top floor with a bath/shower and a smaller powder room on the bottom floor.

The flat is in a great location, not far from Borough Market and London Bridge. It has excellent tube, bus, and rail links - 5 mins walk to both Borough and Elephant and Castle tube stations and 15 mins walking distance to London Bridge and Waterloo. Perfect cycling distance into the City with easy access to Santander bike stations as well.

Elephant and Castle also has good amenities nearby with grocery stores, gyms, cafes and restaurants all within walking distance. It's very close to E&C park and not too far from Burgess park either.

You will be sharing with Abheeshu and Ben, two friendly professionals who work in London. Abheeshu is an engineer with a mix of travel, office, and WFH, while Ben works in marketing and works from home 5 days a week. We enjoy being social and are always down for a drink or movie night in, making good use of our living room and kitchen! But are aware of the grind of modern life and are considerate of each others personal space 🙏 we'd like someone who'd fit in that dynamic :)

We'd like our future flatmate to be social but not an absolute party animal! And please be tidy (but bribes can be taken from messy bakers in the form of a sweet treat 😌)

The relevant costs are as follows:
- The rent is £750 per calendar month (including water, electricity, and gas bills)
- Deposit is one month's rent (without charges).
- The landlord would require references.
- Broadband and council tax (band C) are paid for by the tenants and come to roughly £70 per month.
