Room for rent in the Essex Road / Canalside area of Islington. 15 mins walk to Angel or Highbury & Islington station, or 7-10 minutes into the heart of Angel. Easy commute to the City or Shoreditch, or take the Victoria into the West End.

The room is ideal for a professional female seeking a homey short term/flexi let, I own the flat and rent out the second bedroom periodically. Very considerate and friendly as I've lived in lots of flatshares in London over the last years, and have had three lodgers so far (all good experiences!). I've been working in finance in the City for about 10 years.

The room has lots of built in & underbed storage, and the main bathroom will be for your sole use. Kitchen is well equipped too, plus there's a washer-dryer :)

Essential info
- Non smoking is a hard requirement
- Not suitable for fully remote / WFH, max 50% from home (there's no desk in the room but you're welcome to work in the living area)
- Looking for someone clean (no need to be a neat freak though) and happy to share cost of a cleaning lady monthly / biweekly if you prefer.
- Bills not included, likely around £200 per month, council tax E. Good wifi, good water pressure, but no TV. And lots of plants!
