We have a wonderful room available in our bright, spacious converted warehouse flat in an excellent area between Barbican and Old Street.
We would love to find someone who wants to make this flat feel like a home and is here for the long term.
We are looking for a new tenant to move in on the 1st of June 2026 but can be flexible for the right person.
The room:
A large double bedroom with high ceilings, wooden floors and a vast window - the room will be unfurnished, however, there is a matching wardrobe & drawers that can be left if desired. You will be sharing a bathroom with two other flat mates (Ash and Chloé).
The rent is £931 without bills and you'll be asked to pay a 5 weeks deposit which is £1080 per room. The bills (water, electricity/gas, internet, council tax, cleaner) vary between £100-110 per month per person.
The best element of the flat is the enormous shared living and kitchen space, with triple aspect windows, projector, sofa area and large communal table. Kitchen is fitted with two fridge freezers, dishwasher, washing machine, oven and lots of cupboard space.
There’s a good deal of storage room around the flat as well, including room for bikes in our entrance way. The building has no parking, though permits can be purchased for spaces nearby, and the flat is located on the second floor.
Transport:
We’re located a few minutes’ walk from Barbican, Farringdon (Elizabeth line) and Old Street tube station. Liverpool Street, Moorgate and Bank are walking distance (15-20 minutes).
Bus routes include the 55 (Oxford St), 243 (Waterloo), and 4/56 (Angel).
Surroundings:
Nearby supermarkets include Tesco Express, Waitrose, M&S, Aldi and Coop, all within 5-10 minutes’ walk. We’re close to excellent areas including Shoreditch, Angel, Hackney, and the Barbican Centre is just down the road. We’re lucky to have a good selection of great pubs, bars and restaurants nearby, and Regents Canal is just a stroll away.
You'll be sharing the flat with:
Chloé, 29, is a risk manager in the music industry and works from home two/three days a week. She enjoys keeping active and is always training for her next challenge. Having said that, she will never turn down a glass of wine/cocktail and a sweet treat. She likes to play guitar, snowboard, sail, and can be found cycling or running around London looking for the next best cafe/restaurant.
Ash, 32, Australian and works in finance (dw, very much not a bro). She’s not around much during the week but down to hang/be social on weekends. She loves being active, down for a wine (orange yes pls), trying new spots (love that East energy) and a bit of a yes girlie e. g last minute marathons (despite not being a runner) or spontaneous trips.
Alex & Naomi share a large ensuite room:
Naomi, 32, from New Zealand and works in customer service. She is an avid foodie and is always adding new spots to her Google maps to visit. During the week she’s out at the pub or playing football, whilst on the weekends she gets stuck into exploring London, trying new food/drink spots, and hanging out with friends.
Alex, 31, a software engineer from New Zealand who works mostly from home. He enjoys exploring the various parks in London, either for a weekend walk or out for a run. In his free time he likes reading, watching movies, and keeping up with the football.
This is one of four rooms so we’re hoping to find an awesome, sociable, relaxed housemate, preferably 28+, who might have a good network already established in London but want to spend time in the flat together.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
