We have a cosy room with a double bed and wardrobe in our 3-bedroom, 1-bathroom flat in Finsbury Park (N4) available from the 1st of July. We're in a fantastic spot just under a 10-minute walk from Finsbury Park Station (Victoria, Picadilly & Thameslink), Crouch Hill Overground Station (Suffragette Line), a 5-min walk from Finsbury Park (the actual park), Parkland Walk, with a Tesco and Post Office across the street and countless cafes, coffee shops, wine bars and restaurants all within the vicinity, and a Lime bike parking space right outside. There are also countless buses you can take from Finsbury Park that can take you all over London.
The flat is on the top floor and has a balcony, a separate toilet and bathroom, a dishwasher, a washing machine, a living room with a dining table, and a well-equipped kitchen.
All bills except for gas, electric and TV license are included in the rent.
Who you'll be living with:
Rey (me) - he/him, born in the Philippines and grew up in Essex, I work full-time as a marketing contractor with either 2-3 days WFH or fully remote (depending on contracts I'm working). I'm generally pretty chill & I like to keep clean surroundings. I love a trip to the pub, grabbing grub, binge-watching TV and films, going to art galleries, going to vintage/flea markets and charity shops, tattoos, LGBTQI+ friendly, gym goer, generally chill guy who likes to hang and have a good time.
Dow - she/her, 30 born in Thailand and grew up in Kent. I manage my food business while freelancing as a designer. I’ll be splitting my time between WFH twice a week from my room and on-site. London's been my home for nearly 11 years. I enjoy music, art, writing, reading, cooking etc. I'm fluent in Thai and English, a little Russian and learning German.
We’re laid-back, pretty easy-going and enjoy a chat now and again. No pressure to be super good mates but appreciate good communication. We’re social yet value personal space and we extend the same with you. We're both smokers but only outside of course and love cooking for friends and have them over occasionally but prefer a relaxed atmosphere, ‘not a party house Cleanliness is key—we seek a respectful housemate who shares this value. We take turns to clean the communal areas, buy toiletries like toilet rolls etc and do this on an informal basis. We won’t go crazy over a plate that’s been left out for a day but we’d probably even wash it for you!
The room is available from 1st of July, with the possibility of moving in sooner. The room is very cosy, gets lots of natural light in during the day and is in the quietest part of the flat. You can fit a small desk in there if you need it and the wardrobe is decent-sized. It's initially available for 6 months with a possible extension if you really enjoy living here.
