Fabulous, spacious room in friendly house

This is a gorgeous, light-filled room situated on the first floor of the house. It's big - more than 18.5 square metres and is furnished with a double bed (plus very comfortable mattress), a big armchair, a desk and chair, shelves, a bedside table, lamps etc. For clothes storage, there’s a chest of drawers and hanging space.

Half a flight down from the room lies the large main bathroom with bath, loo, basin, storage cabinet etc as well as a vast walk-in shower. Half a flight up from the room, there's a shower room (plus loo & basin).

The ground floor kitchen/dining room has two big fridges, a huge cooker, a dishwasher, microwave oven, air fryer and all the usual cooking/dining paraphernalia. (There’s also a sofa.) Next to the kitchen/dining area there's a sitting room where we sometimes watch movies on a huge projector screen and on the first floor, next to the main bathroom, there’s a laundry room with a washing machine and a dryer. Outside in the garden there are deck chairs, a hanging egg chair, a table & chairs and lots of flowers. The house also has an adorable small dog.

Transport links are excellent: we're just a five minute or so walk from Finsbury Park station (Victoria and Piccadilly lines plus overground) and we're even closer to lots of bus routes. Cycling's another easy option – it’s around 25 minutes to the centre of town.

The road we're on is exceptionally quiet thanks to a traffic barrier at one end. There’s lots going on very nearby: pubs, restaurants, coffee houses, a couple of great corner shops plus lots of other small local shops and a wide choice of supermarkets. We're about a ten-minute walk away from a bowling alley, gym, cinema, theatre and climbing centre and there are three large parks in the area - Clissold Park, Finsbury Park and Highbury Fields - for walking/running, tennis , football etc: There’s also the smaller Gillespie Park (which has a nature reserve) and, finally, there's the Woodberry Wetlands Nature Reserve next to which there's an area for open water swimming, canoeing & sailing.
