Hello, I’m renting my double ensuite room in my bright and tasteful house in Forest Hill, while I work overseas for a year (with the potential to extend for a further year).

I'll pop back for a few days several times a year (max. six times, but likely less) and stay in the home office.

There is a spacious living/dining room, kitchen, lovely garden, and use of the home office (shared with my housemate Steph) when I'm not staying in it. There's also further storage in the loft for things like suitcases.

The bedroom has a European king bed, a memory foam mattress, lots of built-in storage, and an ensuite.

The house is fully furnished as pictured. The only thing you'd need to bring is bedding.

You'd be sharing with my housemate Steph (37), who works in charity communications. She's friendly, easy-going, and very tidy and clean. She's into running, the gym, music, mental health, reading, socialising, etc.

Looking for a conscientious and grown-up housemate to enjoy living with, who's very tidy/clean and considerate about sharing a space. This isn't a party house - more chilled vibes. We're a LGBTQ-friendly and neurodivergent-friendly house.

The rent is £975/month, plus bills. The fixed bills (internet, council tax, service charge, TV licence) are £125/month. Water, gas and electricity are dependent on usage, but usually another £100/month.

The house is a 2 minute walk from the station, which has Southern trains to London Bridge in 15 mins and the Overground. There is private parking if needed, and lots of space out the back for a bike.

Forest Hill has a great local community offer, with cute cafes, good local restaurants less than 5 mins walk (sourdough pizza, Thai, east Asian, Indian), good pubs, parks and green spaces, the Horniman Museum, and an arts and crafts scene with lots of workshops.

There are three gyms in walking distance, a yoga studio, swimming pool, library, a running club that leaves pretty much from the doorstep, and a local cross fit.
