My flatmate is moving out so I’m looking for a new flatmate for my lovely flat in Forest Hill, tenancy starting 7th December.
Info about the room and flat:
💸Rent is £775 pcm not including bills which is an extra £~195 pcm. Rent comes out on the 7th of the month.
🛏️ Room is a double bedroom which comes with a double bed (frame and mattress are just a few months old so super new!) and shelves. Built in wardrobe is included to the build ofc. No other furniture is included. The photos and videos are from the previous tenants. Plenty of space for a desk if you’re wfh.
✨ Huuuuuge bright living room is the main advantage of this flat. My flatmate will be taking the sofa and TV stand so I’m looking to replace it with someone willing to split the cost and I’m happy to bring my own TV down from my parents after Christmas.
✅Separate bathroom and shower room. Shower is fab if I do say so myself.
✅Spacious kitchen with plenty of storage.
✅Council conversion flat so is regularly maintained by the council. Neighbours are also super nice and friendly, will always say hi and will even collect parcels for you for safety if needed.
About the area:
🌳Forest Hill is a super lovely area! It’s a little further away from the hustle and bustle of the city but still very accessible.
✅Great transport links via London Overground (Windrush line) to Canada Water (jubilee line) Whitechapel (Lizzie line etc). Also a direct train from us to London Bridge.
✅ Cute shops and cafes. My favourite coffee place is called Ounce10 and does an amazing matcha latte. Big Sainsbury’s and also a small Asian market with an adorable dog called Cafe. Lovely parks nearby and super safe area generally.
A bit about me:
I’m Dani, 28. I’ve lived on and off in London for a few years (living in Canonbury during masters and then 2 different flats in Finsbury Park) and this is by far the nicest one that doesn’t break the bank!!
I’m half British and half Mexican so can speak Spanish. Grew up in the UK but huge ties to Mexico and yes I do have a fave Mexican restaurant in London.
I work in the publishing industry and sell the foreign rights to children’s books.
In my spare time I love running but am currently recovering from an injury :( I also love cooking, watching k dramas and listening to kpop and have been learning Korean for a couple of years. I love to travel but can also be a homebody.
Flatmate style is I’m looking for someone who wants to be sociable in just day to day life but also doesn’t mind people having their own space. If I’m in the living room you’re welcome to join me or knock on my door if it’s open but if it’s closed I can respect the need to be alone and brain rot sometimes!
Logistics:
I will unfortunately be going on holiday for 2 weeks from the 24th of October but would be looking to do flat viewings either beforehand on 19th and 23rd of October or after I’m back on the 7th and 7th of November.
Would love to have everything finalised by the 16th of November. Unfortunately the tenancy date isn’t flexible!
Please send me a message if you’re interested with a bit about you, your wfh/office set up and maybe some of your hobbies and interests 🩷
