The area is a lovely, leafy residential part of Furzedown, with local shops/eateries within a 3-minute walk. Tooting Commons are an 8-minute walk away. Tooting Broadway and Tooting Bec stations - both are approximately a 20-minute walk or 16 minutes by bus (the walk is quicker than it appears through pleasant surroundings).

Your room
The bedroom includes a double bed, wardrobe, drawers, and a freestanding clothes rack (see separate drawers picture; the clothes rack has been delivered and will be erected), giving you several options for storing clothes and belongings. Both bedrooms have their own locks for added privacy and peace of mind.

The flat
You’ll share the living room, dining space, kitchen, and bathroom. The flat has a washing machine/tumble dryer, dishwasher, comfy couches, a large flat-screen TV, and ultra-fast fibre internet, a comfortable place to relax, cook, and feel at home.

Rent is £1,000 per calendar month, including all household bills, with no separate bill payments to organise. The deposit is £1,000, and the room is available for one person.

About me and living here
I’m a professional male in my 40s with a busy working life, incl. regular travel. I enjoy keeping fit and have an active social life.

I’d like this to be a safe, comfortable and enjoyable home for both of us - somewhere we can enjoy a chat when we’re around, while respecting each other’s privacy, space and independent routines.

Who I’m looking for
Someone friendly, considerate, and happy to do their share to keep the communal areas clean and tidy. You’ll enjoy a welcoming, sociable home without feeling the need for joint activities (unless you play Padel :)

Guests and shared space: Occasional visitors are welcome. To keep the flat a comfortable home for two, this would suit someone who agrees not to host overnight guests or have friends or a partner visiting frequently. The aim is for us both to enjoy the flat and feel equally at home in the shared areas.
