Hi! :)I'm looking for a female flatmate to share a lovely 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom flat in Greenwich.
Just a quick note: There will also be another room available soon. I'll be deciding which room I'd like to renew my tenancy in next week, and once I've made my decision, I'll post the other room as well.
The letting agent is also advertising the room, but since I'll be renewing my tenancy, I'd love to find a flatmate who's a good fit too.
I've lived here for almost 2 years and have really enjoyed living here. The letting agent is friendly, responsive and easy to communicate with.
About the flat
• Large double bedroom
• Private bathroom. It's just outside the bedroom and is for your own use only.
• Spacious shared kitchen and living room
• Located on the 2nd floor
• The building isn't a modern apartment development, but it's well maintained and located above a Co-op, making grocery shopping really convenient.
• Secure entry system and CCTV
Location
• 5-minute walk to Maze Hill Station
• Around 10 minutes to Cutty Sark DLR
• Around a 10-minute bus ride to North Greenwich Station
• Close to Greenwich Park and the River Thames
• Lots of cafés and restaurants nearby
• Supermarkets nearby include Co-op, Iceland, Sainsbury's and Tesco. Marks & Spencer and Waitrose are also around a 10 to 15 minute walk away or just a short bus ride.
Rent & Bills
Rent: £1,075 pcm (excluding bills)
Bills are shared equally between the three tenants.
Current monthly household bills are approximately:
• Water: £55
• Electricity: around £150 (may vary)
• Council Tax: £187
• WiFi: £36
About me
I'll be starting my PhD in Art & Design this September.
I'm clean, friendly and easy-going. I'm a bit of a night owl, but I'm always quiet and make sure I don't disturb anyone.
I'd love to live with someone who's easy to get along with, and hopefully we can become friends too.
Looking for
• Female only
• Single occupancy only
• Clean and considerate
• Previous house-share experience is preferred
• I'd prefer someone who doesn't regularly cook with very strong spices, as I'm quite sensitive to strong cooking smells.
• Friends or partners visiting occasionally are absolutely fine, but I'd prefer it not to be too frequent.
• No parties, please.
Please note that the flat may not be ideal if you work from home full-time, as there can occasionally be construction noise during weekday 8am-4pm.
Referencing
The letting agent will carry out referencing.
The main requirement is that applicants can demonstrate they can afford the rent and have a satisfactory credit history, with no adverse credit or County Court Judgments (CCJs).
If you're interested, feel free to send me a message and tell me a little about yourself.
