Hi future housemate!

My name is Ebun and I’m moving out a double en suite, and looking for a new housemate to replace me. Please read everything below, and if interested, send me a bit about you :)

The house is EXCELLENTLY located & situated in a fairly quiet street; North Greenwich station & the O2 are 10-15mins away, & Ldn Bridge is ~30mins away by train. Greenwich Central, Cutty Sark, and various museums are also 20mins walk away.

There’s a shopping complex 15mins away that has Lidl, Asda, M&S, a big Sainsbury’s, Boots, TK Maxx, Sainsbury’s, Aldi etc.

You’d be moving into a 1st floor room, which is accessible via stairs. The ensuite bathroom has a handheld shower and a waterfall shower head. In the house, there is a large living room, kitchen, garden, and patio. If you’re lucky, you may get to see the neighbourhood cats visiting!

Living in the house right now are Josh (civil servant), Siddhi (physio), and Issy (Software engineer). The other two women may also be moving out before the end of the year - just something to keep in mind that you would get to shape the new household😉

It is a LGBT-friendly house, POC-friendly & veggie friendly home. The only requirement is that you are personable, social and kind. We have celebrated Diwali, made lasagne, and done countless games nights together. Josh and I have even gone on a few runs together. Everyone has their own lives but it’s nice that there’s always someone at home to talk to.

My prospective move out date is 18th Oct. I’m sorting out transport of my personal items so this may be moved by 1-2 days. Rent comes out on the 12th we’d arrange for you to pay pro-rata rent for Oct. The most important thing is to have completed the necessary paperwork before your move in date & preferably before the 12th.

I’ll be selling my mattress (£120) to the person that takes over the room, so please keep this in mind - I’m happy to negotiate this price. I will also let you know if there’s anything else up for grabs. The room is otherwise fully furnished with a wardrobe, bed frame, mirror, and I plan to leave an extension cord too 🤣

All of the rooms in the house are en suite (so no sharing!) and as this is the smallest room, you’d contribute the smallest amount in rent (£773). There is also a storage closet which can store bedding, suitcases, etc… The deposit is £675. I would estimate bills are around £200.

One last thing: the landlord has recently proposed a rent increase of 7.4%. We disputed this and so far there’s been no increase 🎉 but please consider this.

I work from home, so can be flexible with viewing times. It’s most important that Josh is here as he’s the person who will be staying the longest term.

Caio and I look forward to hearing from you!
