Couple Wanted: Huge double room in Hackney

Room for a couple available in our beautiful 3 story house in Hackney Downs (with a garden)!

The room is a very spacious double, with two large windows that lets lots of natural light in. Furnished with a double bed and a set of drawers. Additional furniture also available to buy off current housemates.

WHO YOU'LL BE LIVING WITH

We are a friendly and sociable house who enjoy doing things together, but also have quite busy and separate lives - so we're super understanding when it comes to personal space and alone time.

Henry is 31, works in music PR, enjoys cycling, baths and Enya.

Tom is 28, works in tech, enjoys life drawing and cooking.

Danelle is 32, working as a freelance event producer and DJ, enjoys cooking and live music/ festivals.

We live in a lovely spacious house, so it’s the perfect space to have people over for dinner parties and drinks! We love pubs, parks runs, exhibitions or a boogie at the weekend, but also appreciate good home cooked meal and chilled night in.

ABOUT THE HOUSE

Our house is situated 1 minute walk from Hackney Downs park, 5 minutes from Hackney Downs station, 10 minutes from Hackney Central and 10-15 from Dalston Junction/Kingsland. There are also plenty of buses going to central London from Pembury Circus, only 5 minutes away. We are basically in the heart of Hackney but in a quiet residential street with lots of green around, but we have our local pubs and shops just on our doorstep.

The house is on 3 main floors:
- Ground floor: kitchen, dining room, living room and second bathroom. We also have a cellar and large garden with a shed.
- First floor: two bedrooms and main bathroom.
- Second floor: two bedrooms and storage cupboards.

Our landlord and landlady live two doors away and we have a good relationship with them.

Bills are not included and are around £100 each on average (depending on the time of year), which also includes a cleaner who comes every other week.
