Compact double in bright and airy Hackney flat

Hello!

We are looking for a new flatmate to join our sunny warehouse flat in Hackney.

You’d be living with two professionals, (M, 43 / F, 37), both of us working in the creative industries.

It’s a friendly and relaxed home. We have natural chemistry and enjoy some good conversation but are also respectful of each other’s space. We’re looking for someone similarly chilled, preferably a person who knows Hackney a bit already, who can go with the flow and feels like a natural fit.

The flat is a converted warehouse done up to a comfortable standard but with its own peculiar charms. This room is at the back of the flat so does not have an outside-facing window - pretty typical for warehouse rooms, but something to be aware of nonetheless. It comes furnished with a bed and has a pretty large amount of shelving and storage space as well.

The building has an outside yard shared with other neighbours meaning there’s a good bit of outdoor space to enjoy in summer. We have secure bike storage and an off-street car-parking space too.

Transport links are great. We are a 5-min walk from Homerton overground station. Chatsworth Road, Victoria Park, London Fields and Hackney Wick are all a stroll away and there’s also a gym and a yoga studio very close by.

Rent is £840 per month excluding bills. Bills add up to about £150 per person, per month. We deal directly with our landlord, who is prompt and helpful. No agencies, thankfully.
