We have a room going as a short-term sublet from May 17th to June 23rd in our lovely home in Hackney. Perfect if you're between places, or just want to spend early summer in one of London's best neighbourhoods.

🏡 The House:
A charming red-brick semi with a sunny garden and plenty of communal space. The house has a big kitchen (with all the usual bits, plus space to cook together), a cosy shared living/dining area with big bay windows, and a peaceful back garden with a palm tree — ideal for early summer evenings. The bathroom is shared but spacious and bright.
🛏 The Room:
A large double room with great natural light (bay windows). It'll come furnished for the sublet period, so you can move in with just a suitcase.
👯‍♂️ Housemates:
You'll be living with three friends — one girl and two guys — working in environmental consulting, cinema, and finance. We're all sociable, easygoing, and enjoy hanging out, cooking together, and hosting the occasional dinner or garden gathering. We're open-minded and would love to welcome someone friendly and respectful into the mix, even just for a few weeks.
📍 Location:
Hackney E9, tucked away on a quiet street, close to green spaces and great coffee shops. London Fields station is ~5–10 minutes' walk.
💷 Rent & bills:
£1,200 pcm (pro-rated for the sublet period)
Couples welcome — £1,500 pcm for two
Bills not included — generally £70–150 per month depending on consumption
Simple deposit, no agency referencing for the sublet
