Your Room

Hi! My current housemate is sadly moving out (1st weekend of August 1-2) to move in with her partner, so I am looking for someone who is friendly, independent and respectful of personal space, but also happy to be social from time to time :).

It would be great to occasionally cook, enjoy the area and London or chat over a coffee, while still enjoying our own routines.

-Large, bright, and well maintained maisonette, lots of light
- 2 Floors, living room plus kitchen on 1st and bedrooms plus bathroom on 2nd
-Clean, tidy and peaceful home environment
-Shared terrace with our lovely neighbours, a quiet couple in their late 20s
-Fantastic location, right by Hackney Downs Park, <1min walk
-<10min walk to Hackney central and Hackney Downs station

The room:

The double bed sits on the 2nd floor of the flat and gets most of the light as its south facing. It comes unfurnished apart from the 4-door wardrobe. My current housemate did wfh, so we set up a work-area in one corner of the living room with a desk, shelve etc. which you could do as well, in case you don't like to work from your bedroom.

Rent/room/months £1240 plus bills(~130£)
Deposit: 1442£

Furnishing: The flat came unfurnished so my housemate and me had to buy most of the furniture or bring our own.

Things that leave the flat: Dining table and chairs, her desk and shelves plus the surfboard. She might be willing to leave other furniture apart from her bed and mattress.
So this will either need to be purchased together or you might already have your own stuff to bring.

A bit about me:

I'm Simon (34, German) and moved into the flat with my current housemate and friend a year ago.
Currently work weekdays as a private chef and nutritional therapist.
I do enjoy a relaxed lifestyle outside of work while spending the weekends unwinding at gigs (mainly electronic music but always open for all sorts of :), or just cooking, exploring the area or meeting with friends.
