I have a room becoming available for a couple or a single on the 11th August. This will be a new tenancy and you’ll be living with me (Jordan). The room is £1450 pcm, and bills come to approximately £120 pp a month. The room is unfurnished, has an ensuite bathroom and a huge window that gets morning sun.

This is a two bedroom flat on the 7th floor, within a gated complex with a concierge. The complex is very safe and has a lovely community feel. The flat has two balconies (with a view of the city in one direction & East London in the other), two bathrooms, a huge open plan living space & kitchen. This is one of the best locations in East London, with Broadway Market and Regents Canal a few minutes away and Pophams across the road. There’s good transport links, with London Fields station (Weaver Line) a 5 min walk away and Hackney Central Station (Mildmay line) an 8 min walk away.

I’m looking for a couple or single to sign on to the lease, who want a home rather than just somewhere to live. Ideally I’d like people who are keen to spend time together, to do pub trips, dinners, explore hackney etc (while also respecting each other’s space). I have some friends who live in the building and it would also be great to do things together as a group. I work in the city and am in the office 3 days a week, and work from home the remaining two days. I’m originally from New Zealand and have been here for 2 years. I enjoy keeping active, travelling, exploring London, watching sports and catching up with friends, and am looking for similar, likeminded flatmates.
