Double room by Hackney Downs - October / January

I’m looking for someone to sublet my bright, good-sized room while I’m away in Brazil, ideally for the full period from 1 October 2026 until 7 January 2027. There’s some flexibility with the move-in and move-out dates—anything from a few days to around a week either side could be possible if helpful.

The house is in a lovely, quiet residential area right next to Hackney Downs Park, on a peaceful cul-de-sac. The room gets plenty of evening sun and looks out over the street.

It’s a four-bedroom house, shared with three friendly working professionals:

* Ozzy, a trans man who works as a landscape architect
* Baz, an IT technician
* João, an orthopaedic consultant

The house has a shared kitchen and but no living room, as well as a garden.

The rent is £575 per month, making it a really good price for the area. Bills come to about £125 per month - depending on usage.

I’m ideally looking for someone who can stay for the duration of my trip and who will be considerate and comfortable living in a relaxed professional household.
