Beautiful restored & modernised 4 story Victorian house in Hackney.

There are 3 double bedrooms rooms available for short, mid & long term rental, under a lodger agreement.

You’ll be sharing with up to 2 others. This is our family home, but we’ve built a second kitchen, living room & dining room for lodgers. Our home & the rooms come fully furnished, you’ll feel truly at home from the moment you arrive. We have a plethora of plants, artwork, antiques, mirrors & lowkey lighting to provide a cosy & tranquil atmosphere.

Each bedroom is designed differently, and we have various furnishings we can swap out as needed. The rooms come with an electronic adjustable height desk, double bed and storage space. The largest room has a kingsize bed & 65inch TV.

The livingroom/ diningroom has a leather sofa & armchair, dining table for 4, flat screen samsung Frame TV, and a small jungles worth of plants, wooden floors and questionable artwork.

There is a gangway kitchen, and we provide all cooking spices, herbs, oils and other essential ingredients, as well as all utensils & appliances, air fryer, blenders, ice cream maker etc... The Sage Bambino makes excellent espresso & flat whites.

We have an endless supply of board games and other sporting equipment that can be borrowed, as well as 2 spare bicycles which lodgers can use.

There's a dedicated bathroom - walk-in shower/wet room for lodgers.

We have a washing machine & tumble drier which makes life a little easier, a wine cellar in the lower ground, and a loft for any additional storage needs.

We have a jacuzzi in the garden which can be rented for use (to cover electricity & cleaning).

There is also a cellar, which we have plans of transforming into a wine, cheese and pickle museum. Right now it's holding plenty of vino. There's also an attic at the top of the house for storage.

Come the summer, the garden comes to life, with a large table and seating, barbecues and ongoing gardening plans.

The house has speedy broadband and is well-heated for the colder times.

Kitchen, bathroom & laundry essentials are included, as well as fresh OJ & milk from our local milkman.

We also have a cleaner once a week.

Area:
The house is on a peaceful no-through road, with Chatsworth Market at one end, & Lower Clapton Road at the other. The area has everything you could possibly need, spoilt for choice for pubs, restaurants, interesting shops and there's an independent cinema nearby. The local community is lovely, there's a neighbourhood WhatsApp group and we're part of a shared allotment across the road, there's also a street party every year.

Hackney Marshes, the River Lea canal & nature reserve are just down the road, for essential escapes from city life. The Olympic park is also nearby with a cycling velodrome and Olympic sized swimming pool and plenty of fitness clubs on our doorstep too.

Transport:
It's a 10min walk to Hackney Central, Homerton, Clapton & Hackney Downs Overground Stations.
The buses 38, 55, 56, 106, 242, 253, 254, 308, 393, 394, 425 & 488 are all a stone's throw away.
Shoreditch, Oxford Street, Kings Cross & Liverpool Street are all about 30 mins away or quicker by bicycle.
