Room in Veggie/vegan Warehouse in Hackney Wick

Hi, we have a large room to rent in our 3 bedroom warehouse flat in Hackney Wick on a 6 month sublet basis. Available from 20th of April 2026 till November for now, but most likely will be possible to extend. This is vegetarian household so we are looking for someone VEGETARIAN/PLANT BASED/VEGAN as we don't cook meat or fish in the house. Please let me know that you acknowledge that when responding to the ad :)

The houshold is pet friendly as long as the pets are well trained, well behaving and well looked after.

Room

Very spacious room with a skylight and sloping roof. There are metal support rails going through the room as it is a converted warehouse unit. Size wise, the room is 7 meters long and 2.7m wide. There is big desk space, wardrobe, shelves and a double mattress with metal platform bed.

The room is on the first floor, which is accessible by 1 flight of stairs, and to get to the warehouse there is also 1 external flight of stairs, this space is not wheelchair friendly sadly.

Open, high ceilings and there are lots of windows, there is a dining area with table and chairs, lounge area with board games / a projector / L shape sofa, and a Chesterfield chair, space to store a bicycle, kitchen with all the appliances, washing machine & dryer, bathroom with a shower, outside the front door is a decorated porch with place to sit and/or smoke [no smoking or vaping allowed inside the property].

Flatmates
----------
David is a full time professional in his late 30’s, working as an electrical engineer, also training as a therapist. He is vegan, queer, is interested in drumming, well-being among other things.

You
----
Looking for someone who wants a nice chilled home vibe, and is clean/tidy and willing to stick to cleaning rota, has good communication skills and is open to occasionally socialize and have a chat with housemates, we don’t want a house of strangers.

Great location, 2 minute walk to Hackney Wick Station, in a gated yard, lots of parks and things to do on the doorstep.
