Room in House Boat by Hackney Wick

Hey all,

Myself and my dog, Bruno, are looking for a lodger for a couple/few days a week or someone who needs a room for a set amount of days each month in London.

I am on a house boat just up from Hackney Wick opposite the Here East building. It is a permanent mooring that is hooked up to electric from the grid and constant water supply.

This is a quieter stretch of the canal but there are cafes, restaurants and a couple of pubs just opposite, lively Hackney Wick just 5 mins walk away, and the East Village, Stratford and Olympic Park all in walking distance too.

There is a gym, pool, sauna and other amenities all around the corner too.

It’s a great place and way to live and I’d love to find someone to be on board who enjoys the space and lifestyle. I work remotely for a tech company after having studied anthropology and like a tidy place where we can chill. I love to read, cook and watch movies when at home and play a lot of sport and see friends regularly.

I can also be, at time, away for a stretch of time as I spend a lot of time in South Africa as my girlfriend is from Cape Town.
